JAMIE LOVATO'S BIO

Jamie used to work for the NYPD's narcotics division, but was transferred to homicide when her cover was blown.
She had a relationship with one of her marks when she was undercover, which comes back to haunt her when the man is found dead in "Blood Out".

Jamie fell in love with Don Flack shortly after they started at the NYPD. She really liked him but it took time for the two of them to adjust. Love is never complicated for the two of them. She is a frisky loving woman..and a hyper and focused little sort. But she really knows her job.

Working undercover in a Dominican gang, the Trinarios, Lovato's cover is broken when she intervenes when a man is knifed on a bus and a member of the gang is on the bus and hears her calling herself a police officer. Later, a member of the gang is found brutally murdered. It later turns out that the man had been in love with Lovato when she was undercover, but hadn't told anyone.

Don sticks with Jamie and starts to mold her and protect her into the cop she turns out to be.
